Attended by more than 500 international property developers, architects, interior designers and realtors, the International Property Awards ceremony is heralded as "the Oscars" of the property industry, with the aim of distinguishing the highest levels of achievement in a range of property-related fields.
Award categories encompass estate agents, property developers, architects, interior designers and many other areas of the residential and resort property industry, from any country.
Zimbali was entered in the Best South African Development, Best South African Golf Development and Best South African Developer Marketing categories and scooped the five-star award in each, going forward above all other South African entrants to compete for the overall titles of Best International Property Marketing Award and Best International Development Award, against more than 30 countries represented.
Andreas Wassenaar, sales and marketing director for Zimbali, took centre stage to accept yet another award ? of Best International Property Marketing.
This is the second time this year that Zimbali Coastal resort has been recognised within the property industry. In August the resort was presented with a silver award for the Best Estate Agency Marketing at the annual Homes Overseas Awards in London.
Wassenaar says: "Over the past three years a tremendous amount of work from a large group of highly skilled and dedicated individuals has been invested in the development and marketing of Zimbali Resort.
"We entered these awards to test our product against the finest available, within a framework that has integrity in the broader international property industry.
"The panel of 22 judges, representing every component of the international real estate industry, were suitably impressed with Zimbali Coastal Resort to bestow the highest accolades and reward us with four coveted awards.
"To achieve the highest level of success across all the categories entered, and in addition to win the overall International Award for property marketing is the ultimate recognition we were hoping to achieve," he says.
