BILL Rawson, the national president of the Institute of Estate Agents, has left Cape Town on a one month trip to the USA and Australia, in the course of which he will be liaising closely with senior officials of national property bodies in both countries.
In San Francisco Rawson will attend a two week national real estate convention and will be meeting other real estate institute presidents from some 25 countries worldwide.
Rawson himself will be presenting to the 300 odd delegates a comprehensive market report on South Africa which, he said, should make it clear that we can offer excellent development opportunities and have a market in which a fair degree of sophistication enables overseas investors to operate comfortably.
Rawson said he would also spend time with those responsible for the training of US estate agents
