The three-day event, which will bring together the most influential national and international property professionals under one roof, will be held at the Cape Town International Convention Centre from 18 to 20 June 2019.

SAPOA Chief Executive Officer, Neil Gopal, says he is delighted to have Rappetti on board as MC of the Convention, having facilitated panel discussions at previous SAPOA conferences. “Rappetti’s dynamic and distinctive style has made her a unique figure in the field of broadcasting.” She facilitated the political panel discussions at both the 2017 and 2018 Conventions respectively.

The theme of the 2019 Convention is Empower. Develop. Transform.  About the theme, Gopal says that education is at the forefront of SAPOA's commitment to provide professionally designed, globally competitive educational programmes to introduce prospective students to the commercial and industrial property sector as well as to empower working professionals with tools to forge ahead in their companies. “Through our Education Programmes, we aim to solve national societal problems, promote a higher quality of life and advance prosperity in society. With this idea in mind, the theme and discussions will challenge delegates on how the property industry, in the pursuit of ongoing learning, can use education as a national tool to build and transform our sector,” he says.

SAPOA will select thought-provoking local and international speakers to share their expertise and knowledge.

The social and networking combination of the convention is an important aspect of the Convention and there will be a massive hub of activity.

The three-day event concludes with the awards evening & themed gala dinner, where property professionals within the fields of journalism and the built environment will be recognised for their noteworthy contribution in enhancing the commercial and industrial property industry.
