Emoyeni Mall has brought retail to the masses in Emoyeni, Nelspruit.

EmoyeniMall

The Mall opened its doors on Friday 24 April and provides the ultimate in top quality, convenient shopping for the communities of Daantjie, Msogwaba, Pienaar, Kabokweni and Kanyamazane who previously had to travel up to 20km’s to fulfil their retail needs.

“Not only are we bringing top class retail to a population of over120 000 people, we are saving them a significant amount of money that they would previously have had to spend on transport costs to get to Nelspruit,” explains MD of McCormick Property Development, Jason McCormick.

Tenants include Shoprite, Pick n Pay, Truworths, Foschini, Liquor City, Roots Butchery, Mr Price, Capitec Bank, Sheet Street, Rage, Edgars Active and Clicks. A fully serviced Co.Fi restaurant brings a unique lifestyle element to the centre that will contribute to the entertainment on offer. The Mall is a fully enclosed, modern centre with over 70 storesproviding the latest fashion, grocery and food retailers.

Developed by McCormick Property Development, the Mall spans 27 698sqm with a total GLA of 23 533sqm and a planned future expansion potential of over 2 000sqm. LP Architects were responsible for the Centre’s elegant, state of the art design that exudes luxury and convenience.

Boasting ample parking, the Mall has also partnered with the Topstar Taxi Association, who will be ranking at the Mall, and BusCor who have a dedicated loading facility on site. “Sufficient parking as well as partnerships with the local transport offering in the area ensures that everyone has access to our Mall,” explains McCormick. “Bringing retail to those who need it remains our top priority and we are proud to add Emoyeni Mall as our 57th successfully completed development.”

Whilst under construction, the Mall provided employment to over 300 individuals in the area with over 700 permanent job opportunities created on completion.
