Liquidations and insolvencies appear to be coming down

The total number of liquidations recorded for the first quarter of 2010 decreased by 6,3% (from 1 008 to 944) compared with the first quarter of 2009

However, the total number of liquidations recorded for the month of March 2010 increased by 18,2% (from 347 to 410) compared with March 2009.

The total number of insolvencies recorded for the three months ended February 2010 also decreased by 2,0% (from 884 to 866) compared with the three months ended February 2009.

Likewise, the estimated number of insolvencies recorded for February 2010 decreased by 8,0 % (from 325 to 299) compared with February 2009.
