Haroon Takolia, B.Comm (Hons), B.Compt, CA(SA), MBA(Wits) (UCT) has been an Independent Non-executive Director of Cape Empowerment Ltd. since October 2004.

Takolia has his own audit practice for many years.

Takolia is a Respected Auditor with clients such as the National Union of Mineworkers, South African Tennins Association and CASE. He serves on a number of social and educational boards. He has been Independent Non Executive Director at Ascension Properties Limited since May 15, 2012. He served as a Non Executive Director of Dynamic Cables RSA Ltd., since August 1, 2003. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1981 from south african Institute of Chartered Accountants and entered practice in 1983.

Takolia attended the Nirvana High School in Lenasia where he completed his Metric.

He completed his MBA at Wits in 1995.

He studied at University of Cape Town.
