Jack of all trades? Our client’s regional office in Umhlanga requires a construction professional with an ongoing maintenance focus. This healthcare provider boasts a history of partnering with local specialist to provide the most cutting edge technology to private patients. The East Coast region is home to 12 hospitals and nearly 10 health care centre’s, treating in and out patients with a cost effective and world class service.

As can be expected, all sites are highly technical, with guaranteed power supply being an absolute must.  Due to the complex nature of the machinery installed at each of these premises, the mechanical and electrical elements of the building are vital. The company acts as developer in building their own sites and extensions, but also maintains each and every hospital to ensure optimal utilisation and uninterrupted service.

They are looking to appoint a building professional who has a minimum of 10 years working experience. You would not only have represented the client and delivered large commercial construction projects from start to end, but also have been exposed to running large facilities management teams. With all CAPEX and OPEX under your control, you will report to head office in Johannesburg, but be confident to make on the spot decisions without consultation. You will have a proven ability in motivating and mentoring others, and good knowledge of the OH&S Act, M&E Design and maintenance and exceptional stakeholder management skills.
