Vincent has been with the company since 2006 and previously held the position of Chief Auditor.

The company’s Chief Executive, Jonathan Smith, said that the volume of consulting business presently being performed by Courtwell Consulting necessitated the internal restructuring of the company so as to optimise project work flow and this determined the need to appoint an executive to manage operations intensively.

“Our operating staff and project leaders are highly qualified and experienced and have all excelled at their respective universities,” said Smith, “Our project work is complex in nature and needs to be managed very carefully so as to ensure that all angles, facts and trends are being properly covered. This necessitated the introduction of new management levels and workflow systems into our organisation.”

Courtwell Consulting provides a spectrum of strategic and other consulting services to the property and retail sectors in Southern Africa and also provides a comprehensive, accredited property education training programme to property practitioners in the region.

Smith will remain the principal trainer of the fourteen module property education programme. The goal of the programme is to train delegates and enable them to perform their respective functions immediately after attending a training programme. Each training module is designed around permitting functional performance from the moment of completing a course.

Smith adds that Courtwell Consulting shall be increasing its strategic input into the property and retail sectors through the introduction of scenario and other planning models in the near future. “Our property sector is going to need extensive and reliable research and resources to weather the turbulence which we shall experience during the next few years.”
