In terms of the overall Somerset West site, the intention is to create a distinct new town which is surrounded by agriculture and other forms of green space, and maximizes the magnificent natural environment of the surrounding area - views of the mountains, the vleis and the coastline.

The site is five minutes away from the beach, 10 minutes from the wine lands, 20 minutes from Cape Town International Airport and 35 minutes from Cape Town. 

Release of the Paardevlei project is scheduled for the last quarter of 2007
