Nedbank Corporate Property Finance today announced that it has funded the R160 million development of the Woodmead North commercial development on behalf of Zenprop Property Holdings

The development consists of three office developments, totalling a building area of 16 494m².  The office developments have been let to General Motors, Oracle and Motorola for periods of 12 years, 11 years and five years respectively.  The General Motors building is complete and the tenant has taken occupation. The Oracle and Motorola buildings have just commenced construction.

Brian Roberts, Divisional Director for the Gauteng division of Nedbank Corporate Property Finance said, “This is an exceptional commercial property in that it enjoys visibility and access from both the N1 and the N3, making it an excellent location for its blue chip tenants.  It also forms part of the development of the greater Buccleuch/Woodmead/ Midrand area, which has become prime commercial property in recent years.”

Zenprop Property Holdings (Pty) Ltd is a South African-based privately-held property investment, development and management company.  It has in-house expertise covering all facets of the real-estate industry, and employs a staff of 95 in its various business units in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban.
