Media release from New Redruth Village

New Redruth Village shopping Centre located just off St Austell Street in Alberton, is scheduled to open at the end of October, with all buildings and shop fronts due to be completed by that time.

New Redruth Village consists of three buildings, each focused on specific retail categories.

Two big brand names have joined the line-up of tenants jostling to trade within these three buildings.

They are Fascination Books, considered one of the biggest independent chain of book shops in southern Africa.

Fascination Books stock a competitively high volume of promotional books year round, and also carry a wide range of Afrikaans and religious books.

The second fabulous new tenant for New Redruth Village is Global Wrapps, a company which combines a menu of sweet and savoury hot wrapped sandwiches with an enticing array of smoothies. The company has been so successful because it has introduced a new food category – a tasty, healthy and wholesome array of fast foods.

Both of these new tenants will contribute extensively to the annual foot count of the new shopping centre.

The construction of the new shopping centre is progressing well. Two of the three buildings which comprise this shopping destination are nearly complete, with the roof already on Building A, and all the parking on the north and east of the site is complete.

The spectacular 12,000m2 double volume corner building which is being developed and leased by Majestic Silver Trading (Pty) Ltd, jointly incorporating prominent developers Flanagan & Gerard Property Investment and Development and Rapid Dawn 40 (Pty) Ltd, promises to be a landmark in the area.
