The UK-based Marie Stopes Family Planning Clinic has selected Cape Town for its South African head office and purchased the three storey, old tannery building at 91 Bree Street. The 740m2 building dates back to the mid 1800s and originally only the exterior was built of brick - all interior walls were of traditional mud-based mix. The interior is to be renovated to accommodate consulting rooms, a small clinic and parking.
