JHI Real Estate has withdrawn its presence from Pietermaritzburg following an amicable arrangement with existing management.

Terry Thompson, who was JHI’s Regional Manager, together with John Robinson, have commenced trading under their own name, Thompson Robinson, from the existing premises.

“The arrangement was reached to ensure as little inconvenience to existing clients as possible,” says Tommy Osborne, KwaZulu Natal regional director of JHI.

“This decision was not an easy one as JHI has enjoyed many good years of trading in the area. None-the-less we are certain that clients will continue to receive excellent service from Terry and John who are well respected and experienced operators”, he added.

JHI continues to manage over 100 properties in KwaZulu Natal and have a dominant sales and leasing broking team in the Greater Durban area.

“We would like to thank all our clients for their past support and look forward to maximizing the opportunities arising from the strong relationship that exists between Thompson Robinson and JHI.”

Terry Thompson commented that the new business will operate along the same lines as those of the past offering commercial, retail and industrial broking services.

“We are very excited about this new opportunity and will certainly continue the heritage of personal and dedicated service to the Pietermaritzburg property market”.

Thompson Robinson commenced trading in October from the premises at 190 Loop Street in Pietermaritzburg.
