Greenacres shopping centre has been undergoing changes as owners Liberty Group revamps and expands the complex.

The company said it had bought out previous partners in the centre, Shoprite-Checkers Properties, which had sub-let the Checkers Mall.

It was therefore undertaking changes that include the expansion of the Edgars outlet by 2,420m² to 7 249m².

A Boardmans store is also being prepared. Both Edgars and Boardmans will be ready to trade in March next year.

Liberty said October and November would mark the arrival or relocation of tenants, including Shoe City, PE Health Shoes, MeJane, Prado, Luella Shoes, and Ackermans Home.
