(Cape Town, 6th December 2004) Rand Merchant Bank Properties continues to grow in the highly competitive property services industry in the Western Cape.

In addition to providing other core property services, the RMBP Property Valuation Division specialises in valuations of investment properties.

RMBP currently undertakes valuations for various clients, including financial institutions and private clients annually with a total value of more than R5-billion.

To meet the ever-increasing demand of new business, RMBP Property Valuation Division have appointed Jeremy Chetty to their team as Regional Valuer.

Jeremy will cover the coastal region from the Western Cape to KwaZulu-Natal as his area of responsibility.

Mr Chetty comes to RMBP from the Corporate Property Finance Division of a major financial institution and brings extensive experience to his new post.

He currently serves on the Western Cape executive committees of both the South African Institute of Valuers, as well as the Technical Committee of the Banking Council of South Africa.

Comprehensive in-house valuation programmes have been developed for the various valuation methods, which can be tailored to client's reporting requirements.
