Listed property group Alpina Investments ltd (ALA) cautioned that it was considering a restructuring of its "A" and "B" class linked units intoa single unit, which could result in a change of control of the company.
In a statement on the JSE Securities Exchange, Alpina also said it hadsigned a heads of agreement to acquire properties to the value of approximatelyR200-million.
The acquisitions were subject to the completion of a due diligence investigation, property valuations and legal agreements.
The transactions could have a material effect on the price of Alpina'ssecurities, it warned.
