Royal & Sun Alliance, the second-largest UK property and casualty insurer, might get offers for its UK life business from Old Mutual and Hugh Osmond, the Financial Times said on Friday. Royal & Sun is shedding jobs, selling units and underwriting fewer policies in an effort to return to profit after asbestos-related claims and falling stock markets led to losses for three years.
