The recent seventh international concrete block paving (cbp) conference, Pave Africa 2003, held at Sun City has been widely acclaimed as one of the best ever staged.
Attendance - about 250 delegates - was also one of the highest. Half the participants and exhibitors were from overseas.
CMA director, John Cairns says the conference was great promotion for South Africa's paving market and conference facilities. "South Africa has long been regarded as a world leader in cbp technology and the local staging of the conference was recognition of that fact."
