With effect from October 1, 2019, Crested Towers Building owned by National Housing and Construction Company Limited (NHCCL) will be managed by Ms Broll Uganda Limited, a subsidiary of Broll Property Group.

Government of Uganda is the majority shareholder of NHCC. Since its incorporation in 1964, NHCC has remained  Uganda’s leading real estate and property developer. All prime locations of Nakasero, Bugolobi, Bukoto, Ntinda, Naalya, Kiwatule, Lubowa and most Boma grounds in the municipalities are a result of NHCC’s incredible handwork to Uganda’s development agenda in the housing and real estate sector. Accordingly Broll’s contract to manage Crested Towers Building marks a new era of property and facilities management services in Uganda as part of the Broll progressive property people approach - focused on customer centricity and bespoke asset management.

Mr. Moses Lutalo, Broll Uganda Country Manager, is excited about their offering: “NHCC will benefit from Broll’s approach of people at the front of their services. Our Ugandan operation has the full support of the wider Broll Group with presence in 16 countries in providing technology support, processes, experience and training”. The Broll Property Group Pan-African presence also enables them to align locations, platforms and processes with state of the art  owned and patented Broll Online and Broll Vantage.

Broll Online is the group’s industry leading proprietary software that has been built and developed specifically for the needs of property owners. It provides online cloud services that perform all the necessary property management functions, including supply chain performance management, energy management and smart building solutions.

NHCC believes that Broll’s unique value proposition will provide real estate investors with integrated and efficient reporting to ensure  greater transparency on the performance of their assets. It also marks a shift from a reactive to a proactive approach through the application of ISO specialist property management system.

To enhance efficiency and offer real time services to Crested Towers clients, MS Broll has partnered with Tsebo Solutions Group. This enables Broll to provide NHCC and her tenants with the best of both worlds in a seamless, integrated service delivery platform. Broll believes in building an inclusive economy in the countries where these initiatives create cross-organisation diversity, skills development and environmental sustainability.

According to Eng. Kenneth Kaijuka, CEO of NHCC, Crested Towers is one of the most iconic and prestigious properties in central Kampala, with more than 14,000 square metres of rentable space. It is strategically located and is a home for blue chip tenants such as the Stanbic Bank Headquarters, Head office for the Delegation of the European Union in Uganda and the Head office for the African Development Bank in Uganda among others. Eng. Kaijuka adds that smarter and customer focused solutions that have been agreed with MS Broll, the new property management will drive service excellency to the clients and set a bench mark for property and facilities management in Uganda.

The contract to Ms Broll Uganda followed a robust open bidding and screening process where Ms Broll emerged the winner and their initial property management contract will run for the next three-years. “Part of the decision in selecting Broll group was their more than 44 years of excellence in providing property management services across Africa. We look forward to their value addition in ensuring Crested Towers remains the class A office buildings of choice with a high level of efficiency in service provision that drives customer satisfaction”, said  Eng. Kenneth Kaijuka.

Mr. Lutalo asserts that some of the credentials that Broll brings to the market include a track record of maintaining global standards, delivering beyond expectations, honouring promises and adding value with the right team for each project. Broll is embarking on this project with a commitment of service excellence, beneficial to the group and their client, towards building value chains that enhance trusted long-term relationship.

Broll Uganda is inspired by the NHCC’s recognition that the company can deliver quality service, underpinned by sophisticated technology platforms, in an efficient and professional manner to the highest level of quality. Other services offered by Broll include: broking, facilities management, occupier services, research, retail leasing and consultancy, valuation and advisory services.
