The Mall@Carnival is a well-established 87,000m2 Super-Regional Shopping Centre, situated in the Brakpan area of the East Rand.

The Mall has a vast variety of quality retail, service and lifestyle offerings featuring groceries, fashion, food, décor, tech, services, cinemas, entertainment and health, and celebrated its 12th birthday on 04 November 2017. 

Anchor Tenants include Pick n Pay, Checkers Hyper, Woolworths, Edgars, Game, Dischem, Westpack Lifestyle, Baby City, Ster Kinekor, Medicross and Builders Express and a comprehensive national tenant mix.  With over 200 shops, the Mall@Carnival merges desirable brands with convenience.

New additions to the mall include a brand new 2,500m2 Planet Fitness which will be opening by August 2018. The new 2,000m2 WiJump Trampoline Park and Spur will be opening by 24 November 2017 and bring a much-needed entertainment offering to the East Rand. Truworths is also expanding to add Naartjie and Earthchild.

Mall@Carnival is ideally situated just off the N17 highway and accessible from Airport Road and Heidelberg Road, with convenient accessibility and FREE parking. The Shopping Centre is highly visible and available to all traffic coming from the wide catchment market of over 360,000 people in its primary catchment and up to 610,000 people in its secondary catchment. The annual purchasing power of the market is R8,9billion, with Mall@Carnival currently attracting approximately 35% of this spend.

Average footfall at the mall is approximately 850,000 feet per month, peaking to 1,3million over the festive period. A recent shopper survey indicated that 86% of the mall’s shoppers fall within LSM 7-10+, with 81% of the shoppers arriving by car. Trading densities are on par with the IPD benchmark, and exceed the benchmark in certain categories.
