New Vantage Properties, a brokerage specialising in leasing and investment sales, has brokered the sale of the sought-after Hutton Court building in Hyde Part to Nu Metro.

New Vantage Properties has concluded the sale of Hutton Court in Hyde Park to Nu Metro. This modern, functionally designed, A-grade office & retail space proved to be the ideal home for Nu Metro’s new head office, and strategic business growth.

“Hyde Park is a small business node, with mostly residential properties – most existing corporate buildings are owned by funds and are multi-tenanted. Owner-occupied buildings are rare, and Nu Metro’s purchase of Hutton Court will stand out as a landmark sale in the area,” points out Shimi Morekure, Senior Broker at New Vantage Properties.

Nu Metro was in the market for bigger, more accessible office space that embodies both aspects of their creative and corporate identity. With an understanding of this brief, and extensive knowledge of the market, New Vantage Properties leveraged their relationship with the seller to negotiate a smooth transaction for their client.

According to Jonathan Klopper, Director at New Vantage Properties, “the deal with Nu Metro was made possible because Hutton Court was suitable both from a position and price perspective; while offering the opportunity of future expansion, plus an additional income stream through office and retail leases”.

In addition to facilitating this sale, New Vantage will also be assisting Nu Metro to find suitable tenants to occupy the remaining office & retail space in the 3899m² building that holds a prime position on Jan Smuts with quick & easy access to Sandton, Rosebank, and the surrounds.

New Vantage Properties was founded in 2015 by four passionate partners with over 58 years of combined industry experience. Today, the brokerage has firmly etched its position as a formidable leader in the South African commercial and industrial property sector.
