Gone are the days of standing, plans in hand, on wind-swept vacant land trying to imagine what your future home will look like once it has been built.

Pamela Naidu, ID Realty’s Sales and Marketing Director, whose attention to detail is legendary, has put her feminine touch to the state of the art, on-site Pebble Beach Sibaya pop up public viewing tower and visitor centre.  It is a haven of such serenity and so visually charming that some buyers are in no hurry to leave.

The viewing tower is a far cry from the usual builders scaffolding, traditionally accessed with great difficulty.  As some visitors felt unsafe climbing up a wobbling structure, Pamela decided to do things differently.

She commissioned The Furniture Lab to transform three standard 20 ft shipping containers into a unique corrugated iron double storey structure thereby ensuring that visitors can feel relaxed and protected from the elements in a professional and comfortable climate controlled environment.

The viewing tower also acts as a mock-up apartment which allows future owners to contemplate their potentially breathtaking sea views.  The custom cut and installed floor to ceiling windows are constructed from reinforced glass.

“We wanted to create a space that was synonymous with our brand and which exudes sophistication and Resort-style living” she says.

Interior designers Tash Sutherland and Paula Shotland from The Furniture Lab were tasked with decorating the interiors and they drew inspiration from the external natural elements such as the ocean, nearby indigenous forest and coastal living which is the essence of Pebble Beach Sibaya.

“Our office remains on-site for at least eight months so we decided to invest R2.5 million into something really worthwhile.  We would like our clientele to feel its home-from-home where they can enjoy great coffee and a chat. I believe that attention should always be given to this area as it is the heartbeat of the sales and marketing process”, concludes Pamela.
