Lourens Nel

Lourens started his career with C P De Leeuw Appraisers & Quantity Surveyors in 1995 where he worked for five years.


He was self-employed and managed his own firm, L Nel Appraisers, in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga until 2002, when he rejoined the De Leeuw Group working in their Johannesburg valuation division until 2003.

From 2004 to 2008, he held the positions of Executive Director and acting CEO of Dijalo Property Valuations, after which he established UNIQUECO Properties.

Lourens is a registered Professional Valuer with the South African Council for the Property Valuation Profession (SACPVP) in terms of Section 22 of the Property Valuers Profession Act 2000 (No 47 of 2000).

He is also a member of the South African Institute of Valuers (SAIV), the South African Right of Way Association (SARWA), as well as the International Right of Way Association (IRWA).
