Gerald Nelson

Gerald Nelson is the Chief Executive Officer of Hospitality Property Fund Limited.

 

Gerald Nelson stepped down as the Chief Executive Officer of Hospitality on 30 June 2013, but remains on the board as a Non-Executive director. He was first appointed to the board prior to the listing of the Fund in 2006.

Gerald Nelson conceptualised and was actively involved with the set-up of the Fund. Prior to 2006, Gerald was the managing Director of Sycom Property Fund Managers Limited and a past chairman of the Association of Property Unit Trusts.

He has more than 35 years’ experience in activities related to property with specific expertisein development, asset management as well as listed and directly held investment property vehicles, with a specific focus on the hotel and leisure industry for the past eight years. Gerald is a member of the investment, nomination and remuneration committees.

He is currently involved in various local and offshore property development and investment activities.
