Pepperclub nominated as Africa's Leading City Hotel for third successive year.

Pepperclub Hotel & Spa, a five star 210 suite hotel located in the heart of cosmopolitan Cape Town, has been nominated for three awards in the 2015 World Travel Awards the ultimate travel accolade that recognises and rewards excellence across all sectors of the global travel and tourism industry.

Now in its 22nd year, the awards are globally known as the “The Oscars of the Travel Industry”, and all titles are awarded based on votes from travellers and industry professionals. Pepperclub Hotel & Spa, the reigning title holder of the 2013 and 2014 Africa’s Leading City Hotel award, and a 2014 nominee for Africa's Leading Hotel Residences award, has once again been nominated in the same categories. This year also sees the hotel’s luxurious 20th floor Penthouse nominated in the South Africa’s Leading Hotel Suite category. 

According to Nick Seewer, CEO of Pepperclub Hotel & Spa, the hotel is thrilled to be nominated for this prestigious title of Africa’s Leading City Hotel for the third year running, and honored for the new nomination. “The hotel aims to uphold itself to international service standards, and being recognised again confirms the hotel’s commitment to deliver premier service in South Africa and Africa.”

Seewer says that the new nomination for South Africa’s Leading Hotel Suite is testament to the opulence and splendor of the hotel’s prestigious penthouse suite. “Located on the top floor of the hotel, and spanning across two levels, it has become known as the Penthouse in the Sky. Towering over the heart of Cape Town, and boasting panoramic views of Table Bay and Table Mountain, we truly believe it is worthy of this nomination and accolade.” 

Other hotel’s vying for title of South Africa’s Leading Hotel Suite in are Saxon Hotel, Villas and Spa, Belmont Mount Nelson Hotel, Cape Grace, Taj Cape Town, the Twelve Apostles Hotel & Spa and the Westin Cape Town. Pepperclub Hotel & Spa has been nominated alongside three other South African hotels for the title of Africa’s Leading City Hotel, namely Hilton Durban, Sandton Sun and The Michaelangelo, and alongside the Taj Cape Town and Cape Royale Luxury Hotel & Spa for the Africa’s Leading Hotel Residences 2015 category.
