Ashraf Mohamed is a Chief Executive Officer of Ascension Property Limited.

Ashraf Moegamat Mohamed, BComm, CFA Level III, serves as a Mining Consultant of TerraGali Resources Berhad.

Mohamed served as Head of capital at markets at Regiment capital since 2009. Prior to joining STANLIB, Mr. Mohamed served as a Portfolio Manager of Futuregrowth, where he was managing the Active Quants Division for the Albaraka Equity fund.

He has experience in asset management and stock broking over the past 17 years. He has worked with several asset management companies, such as HSBC Simpson McKie Pty Ltd, Franklin Templeton Investments Stanlib Asset Management and Futuregrowth. His portfolio included the mining, banking, insurance and financial services sectors. From his asset management experience, he has developed a network of institutional investors, in particularly, the mining industry. Prior to that, Mr. Mohamed worked for Franklin Templeton and Abvest Associates. Before that, he was employed at Greenwich Asset Management.

Mohamed started his career as an Analyst with HSBC Simpson McKie. Mr. Mohamed served as senior manager at Stanlib Asset Management and Senior manager at Stanlib Asset Management. Mr. Mohamed served as Three years as the head of portfolio at Ran Blue Ridge Capital which provided advisory services to various unlisted entities and served as Analyst and fund manager at Abvest Associates and co-managed the Absa General Equity Fund. He served as an Executive Director of Ascension Properties Limited since November 15, 2011 until July 1, 2014.

Mohamed holds Bachelor of Commerce degree Majored in Accounting and Information Systems) in 1992 from University of Cape Town in South Africa.

He completed his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) level III exam in 2001.
