SA Corporate Real Estate Fund (SAC) on Tuesday announced the acquisition of Afhco group property portfolio.

The fund said the core rationale for the proposed transaction is to gain exposure to the fast growing residential property sector.

The Afhco Group portfolio is located in the general improvement areas of the Johannesburg inner city CBD consisting of 27 properties with an approximate value of R953m.
