Leading property developer and investor Intaprop announced three new deals at its Meadowview Business Park totalling some R240 million and spanning 30,000sqm of new development.

Meadowview Business ParkTriton Express, Premier Foods and Esco Corporation are the latest leading companies to sign up at this prime commercial park, with each respective building developed to the unique needs of its tenants.

Meadowview Business Park is zoned for industrial warehousing and office use, with space ranging from 5,000sqm to 20,000sqm. It provides tailor-made amalgamations of offices, laboratories, warehousing or logistics facilities for clients.

Intaprop director Hugo Stroud says: "Demand at Meadowview Business Park is steady, driven by its central position in Gauteng and its superb road access. It is proving ideal for FMCG, high value logistics and distribution, high-tech and pharmaceutical manufacturing as well as business process outsourcing centres or any other people-intensive services."

Triton Express is due to take occupation in September 2014 and earthworks for its new site are underway. The R135 million development will house an impressive 12,000sqm warehouse, 3,000sqm of office space and a 600sqm staff service village.

Triton Express's building will include several green initiatives including natural lighting in the warehouse and rainwater harvesting for washing trucks. All offices will be out of direct sunlight, but still allow natural light into the office space to help reduce the use of artificial lighting. Energy efficient lighting will be controlled by motion detectors. Energy savings extend from lighting to the air conditioning system. The building will use low VOC paints, and recycled steel where possible.

Premier Foods has also chosen Meadowview Business Park as the site of its new distribution centre. With 7,500sqm of warehouse and 950sqm of office space the R62 million development will be ready for occupation by Premier Foods in August 2014.

Earthworks and mining supplies company, Esco Corporation will also take occupation of its new building in Meadowview Business Park in August 2014. Its R42 million development comprises a 4,400sqm warehouse and 600sqm of offices.

"Intaprop is developing Meadowview in phases on a demand-led basis. On completion, there will be 250,000sqm of development at this high-profile commercial precinct in northern Johannesburg," says Stroud.
The Meadowview Business Park lies alongside to the N3 highway and R25 Modderfontein Road at the London Road interchange. The park is ideally situated between two of SA's most successful commercial nodes, Longmeadow and Linbro Park.
