Thirteen JHI Properties leasing and sales consultants were the first in the Western Cape to commence their training for the SETA-accredited commercial NQF4 qualification.

The EAAB approved training is being conducted at JHI Properties offices in Tyger Waterfront, in Cape Town by Salma le Roux of iSelSele Property Academy. Le Roux is also the author of the commercial content of the course.

Comments le Roux: "I was impressed with the enthusiasm with which the commercial property agents welcomed the opportunity to acquire this qualification. Until now, the only other alternative for commercial agents was to obtain the generic NQF4 (ID59097) qualification in real estate, which, although generic, is primarily focused on residential sales and rentals. As a result it placed commercial agents at a disadvantage as it does not cater for their specialised field."

iSeleSele Property Academy is the only SETA- and EAAB-accredited commercial RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning) training provider. All JHI Properties staff nationally who are involved in the negotiation of leases will complete the new NQF4 qualification for commercial property or the RPL process.
