“The Mall’s excellent location is extremely accessible to local motorised and pedestrian shoppers as well as those from neighbouring Steelpoort and surrounding areas. Getting to Burgersfort Mall is made even more convenient through the centre’s direct access off the R37 and its proximity to the CBD and main taxi rank. Public transport facilities will also be provided for at the centre and improvements to the surrounding roads will form an integral part of the development”, mentions Hannetjie Ludick of Heriot Properties.
Burgersfort Mall will be one of four retail centers’ serving Burgersfort as well as its surrounding communities. “Anchored by a 3,500m2 Shoprite, the mall has already attracted major retailers including JetMart, Roots Butchery, Edcon Group, Pepkor Group as well as a number of furniture stores and fast food restaurants”, Ludick confirms.
The enclosed Mall will be a differentiated shopping environment that will provide a boost to the local economy by retaining local consumer spend in Burgersfort, whilst at the same time bringing shopping closer to the community it serves.
