A fresh take on restaurants and food shopping will make Nicolway Bryanston Shopping Centre a favourite foodie destination when it opens for trade in April 2012.
Not only will the centre be home to three supermarkets (a 2,200m² Food Lovers Market and a 3500m2 Checkers) – including SA’s first new-concept Woolworths 3,200m² supermarket – it will also offer a carefully selected range of hand-picked restaurants and coffee shops with an emphasis on quality and personal service. (Located in upscale Bryanston with direct access from William Nicol Drive, the 23,000m² Nicolway Bryanston centre will offer more variety than any other centre.
“We believe that one of the centre’s biggest draw cards is the extensive food offering, across restaurants, cafes, specialty food, supermarkets and delis,” says owner Martin Rodrigues of the Rodrigues Group.
Restaurants Red Rabbit, Liquorice, Turn ‘n Tender, the popular Col’Cacchio Pizzeria which will be relocating from its current Bryanston location and Fishmonger are all poised to open their doors.
Boutique café Tashas, Fego Caffe, Woolworths Café, and the Food Lovers Cafe will round out the offering for local foodies. “All restaurants are owner-operated, with the owners on the trading floor, and food offering doesn’t end with restaurants” says Rodrigues.
“Nicolway Bryanston Shopping Centre has been designed to offer convenient retail with a vibrant tenant mix in an exceptional setting,” says Patrick Flanagan of Flanagan & Gerard, development managers for the project.
“Our emphasis lies squarely on providing quality and personal service, something that is evident in the selection of stores and restaurants,” notes Rodrigues.
