Accessibility and proximity to Lanseria International Airport are two key advantages of Cosmo Business Park, say new tenants at Investec Property’s newest industrial and warehousing development

But these certainly aren’t the only features attracting light manufacturing, warehousing and distribution businesses to the modern, secure business environment.

The 40 hectare Cosmo Business Park, centrally located on Malibongwe Drive just 2 km north of the established Kya Sands commercial and industrial node, offers exceptional access to Johannesburg, especially the city’s northern suburbs, and also Pretoria and the West Rand.

“We opted to be in Cosmo Business Park because of favourable rental and the financial viability the move represented for our company,” says Shawn Landman, CEO of Scientific Group, which moved into its new 5,700sqm facility at Cosmo Business Park last month.

“The additional space and configuration to our specifications allows us to execute three times as many orders a day as at our previous premises – and that translates into improved service delivery, faster turnaround times, and enhanced customer satisfaction.”

Guaranteed electricity supply and competitive land prices were draw cards for The Courier Guy, that moved into Cosmo Business Park in March. “Apart from the infrastructure and competitive pricing, we liked the professional look of the park, which is attracting high-calibre businesses,” says The Courier Guy’s financial manager Douglas Corbett.

Longspan Gutters opted to purchase land in this growing business estate, to design and build its own new premises. “Cosmo Business Park provides a high-quality, safe and pleasant working environment, as well as a secure destination for our customers,” explains CEO Gus Behn.

“Both our existing and prospective customers have made repeated requests for us to move into the region and the park reflects our corporate profile for both business and property investments.” Behn adds the company looks forward to a healthy return on investment once their new building is complete.

“The variety of benefits which Cosmo Business Park offers companies is driving sustained demand for land and premises from those needing light manufacturing, warehouse and distribution space,” says Investec Property’s Mike Brown.

Of the total 72 stands available, several have already been sold, and further stands are currently in advanced negotiations. Cosmo Business Park is able to accommodate demand for fully serviced land from 1,600sqm to as large as eight hectares.

Investec Property, a division of Investec Bank Limited, is one of South Africa’s best recognized property operations.  By committing to firmly defined strategies and maintaining the necessary flexibility, Investec Property has built strong portfolios within the specialist areas of trading and acquisitions and developments.
