Total income for the accommodation industry for the first quarter of 2011 decreased by 2,6% compared with the first quarter of 2010.

Total income for the accommodation industry in March 2011 decreased by 0,3% compared with March 2010.

Income from accommodation: Income from accommodation for the first quarter of 2011 decreased by 3,5% compared with the first quarter of 2010. This decrease was due to a decrease of 4,5% in the number of stay unit nights sold. The average income per stay unit night sold increased by 1,1% during the same period. Income from accommodation in March 2011 decreased by 2,0% compared with March 2010.

Stay units available: The number of stay units available for the first quarter of 2011 decreased by 0,5% compared with the first quarter of 2010. The number of stay units available in March 2011 decreased by 0,6% compared with March 2010.

Stay unit nights sold: The number of stay unit nights sold for the first quarter of 2011 decreased by 4,5% compared with the first quarter of 2010. The number of stay unit nights sold in March 2011 decreased by 3,2% compared with March 2010.
