Loyalty club drive helps garner centre support
Ideally situated in East London, the super-regional Hemingways Mall has achieved enormous success with its loyalty program, Club H.  Since its launch in April this year over 8 000 shoppers have signed up, and the number continues to grow daily.

“We have had a phenomenal response to our Club H initiative, which allows Hemingways Mall to acknowledge and reward loyal customers with quarterly special offers.” says Rachel Klaasen, General Manager of Hemingways Mall.  “Members are joining locally as well as from far afield as Mthatha and Queenstown.”

The latest quarterly voucher pack for Club H members was made available in July, and included over R4 000 in value-added savings.  Annually, members are able to benefit with discounts and special offers valued over R10,000!

Aside from benefits and discounts that shoppers receive, Club H offers shoppers an opportunity to engage in two-way communication with the centre’s management.

“Our goal with Club H is to build meaningful and lasting relationships with our shoppers, allowing them to communicate what they wish to see from Club H as well keeping them informed about events and services at the mall.” notes Klaasen.

Hemingways Mall’s 73,000sqm of retail space makes it the largest shopping centre in the Eastern Cape, and its 200 shops offer variety and choice, with anchor tenants including Woolworths, Pick n Pay and Edgars.

At the end of August and September, shoppers can win R5 000 by signing up a friend to Club H.  Winners will be announced on Wednesday 25 August and Wednesday 29 September.
