The recently completed Old Town Square shopping and office complex in
Buitenkant Street, Cape Town forms part of a long-term plan by
private investors and the Cape Town municipality to redevelop the
upper section of the city's CBD.

The Old Town Square project - completed at a cost of R5,2-million - was constructed on the site of the old Minelli building, which had to be partly demolished to make way for the new centre.
