Total income for the accommodation industry for the first quarter of 2010 decreased by 0,3% compared with the first quarter of 2009

Income from accommodation for the first quarter of 2010 decreased by 0,9% compared with the first quarter of 2009. This decrease was mainly due to a decrease of 5,0% in the number of stay unit nights sold during the same period. Income from accommodation in March 2010 increased by 2,1% compared with March 2009.

Stay units available

The number of stay units available for the first quarter of 2010 increased by 2,4% compared with the first quarter of 2009. The number of stay units available in March 2010 increased by 2,5% compared with March 2009.

Stay unit nights sold

The number of stay unit nights sold for the first quarter of 2010 decreased by 5,0% compared with the first quarter of 2009. The number of stay unit nights sold in March 2010 decreased by 4,8% compared with March 2009.
