The dream for those who wish to own a unique piece of Africa is soon to become a reality.

Property-Housing-ResidentialAuction Alliance have been awarded an opportunity to bring to auction one such property. From the award-winning Zorgvliet portfolio, South Africa’s leading auction house will knock down the exclusive and luxurious Ka’Ingo Private Game Reserve in March 2010.

Situated in the Waterberg biosphere, the 6 453ha reserve is a mere three hours drive from the gateway to Africa, Johannesburg and just 47km from Vaalwater.

Dissected by the Mokolo River, the reserves lies in an area that is malaria-free and home to a diverse range of 35 game species, including the indigenous Cape Buffalo, Brown Lion, African elephant and Cheetah.

Due to the aggressive expansion of the Dinkweng Safari Camp as part of the International Zorgvliet Private Residence Club the owners of Ka’Ingo have decided to sell this unique piece of Africa.

The Zorgvliet Portfolio will focus on the luxury self catering market and will as such develop nine additional lodges in the Dinkweng Bushveld Resort.

Company CEO Mac van der Merwe expressed his wishes that the new owner will become the gatekeeper of a unique hospitality and conservation reserve and take the present project to new levels.

Graded 5-stars by the South African Tourism Board, the reserve boasts an exclusively luxurious accommodation infrastructure that comprises of the Ka’Ingo Main Lodge, as well as the Ka’Ingo River Lodge, both bursting with African ambience and hospitality.

The Main Lodge is located in the centre of the reserve and is a true oasis surrounded by lush bush. A total of 12 luxury en-suite thatched rooms are on offer, along with a host of facilities to make any stay unforgettable.

The nine-bedroom River Lodge can accommodate 18 guests and boasts spectacular views of the Mokolo River from its thatched deck which extends over the bustling waters below.

Further included in the sale are the moveable assets of the reserve, as well as the intellectual property rights to the name “Ka’Ingo Private Nature Reserve”. Also worth noting is that the reserve boasts it own 1,2km grass strip, thus proving easy access to and from the reserve.

"On the morning of the 17th of March it is not only the sun that is going to rise over the African continent, but also a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be the new owner of one of the most prestigious and secluded game farms in Africa," concludes Petro Hansen of Auction Alliance.

Auction Alliance will conduct the auction on 17 March 2010 at 10am at the Southern Sun Hotel on Grayston Drive in Sandton.
