A new development site in Rosebank is being brought to market.

A NEW development site in Rosebank suitable for a building of 50000m² 75000m² is being brought to market and should generate interest among developers keen to get onto the Rosebank development train.

Property consultancy Bradford McCormack, acting for the site’s owners and looking to tender it for development, says the site has rights for mixed-use development such as offices, retail, residential, parking and a hotel.

Director Andrew Bradford says the site on Oxford Road opposite the Park Hyatt Hotel and 100m from the new Gautrain station, is 10600m². It consists of four stands with the potential for a 20-storey structure.

“You may build to a maximum of 150000m², but this would not be practical. Realistically, a developer could build a scheme of 50000m² to 75000m²,” says Bradford.

The property is owned by a private company, Henque 2201.
