“When it comes to opening a franchise it is all about location, location, location and we, at Taste Holdings are more than happy that the very first Domino’s Pizza in Gauteng was opened in the Rivonia Junction. We look forward to building a long and lasting relationship with all of our customers through this great location," states Jay Currie, CEO of Taste Holdings Food Division.
Jay comments “the attraction to the centre was its great visibility from Rivonia road and the fact that Rivonia is not only densifying from a residential aspect, but is also improving from a commercial aspect."
“We believe that now that the centre has been renovated it will attract some more attention from national and international brands looking for a presence in Rivonia. The renovation has given the centre a much needed facelift, as well as a security upgrade” comments Justin Blend and Nick Katsapas of Africrest Properties, the owners of the centre.
Saravanaa Bhavan a South Indian vegetarian restaurant will also be opening its first South African restaurant in the Rivonia Junction Shopping Centre. This restaurant chain has over 100 stores worldwide and chose Rivonia Junction for their first store as “the prime location has a lot to offer in terms of exposure,” states Zara Kara the restaurant’s franchisee in South Africa.
Rivonia Junction offers a wide range of food options from sushi to Vietnamese, which is one of the reasons that the centre trades so well and adding pizza and Indian food to the range of options will further strengthen the centre as the number one food destination in Rivonia and surrounding areas.
