In this note, we continue with the 4th quarter 2020 results of our FNB Commercial Property Broker Survey, which surveys a sample of commercial property brokers in the 6 major metros of South Africa, ie. City of Joburg and Ekurhuleni (Greater Johannesburg), Tshwane, Ethekwini, City of Cape Town and Nelson Mandela Bay.

Springs Mall to open on 16 March 2017

Developers of the world-class Springs Mall at Blue Crane Eco Park today announced the R950 million regional mall will officially open to the public on Thursday, 16 March 2017.

It might be mid-week and days after month-end, but the buzz at the sprawling Mall@Carnival as shoppers stream in from across Ekurhuleni and beyond is unmistakable.

During the 1980s, much of the land between Johannesburg and Tshwane stood vacant. Farms, coupled with just a handful of factories, dotted the 60-odd kilometre highway stretch spanning the two cities.
