Mr. Younaid Waja, BCom (Hons), BCompt, CA (SA), HDip Tax Law is a Practicing Tax and Business Consultant.

He had been a Non-Executive Director at Telkom SA Ltd. since April 20, 2010. Mr. Waja serves as an Independent Non-Executive Director of Public Investment Corporation Limited. He serves as a Director and Member of Audit Committee and Procurement Committee of Pareto Limited. He has extensive experience across a wide field of business sectors, including telecommunications, property, asset management, gaming, motor and transportation, and economic growth facilitation.

Mr. Waja has been an Independent Non Executive Director of Imperial Holdings Limited since June 2004. He serves as a Director of Blue IQ Investment Holdings (Pty) Limited and Supplier Park Development Company (Pty) Limited. He is a Trustee of the Diabo (Telkom Employees’ Share) Trust. He served as a Director of Telkom SA SOC Limited.

Mr. Waja was a Black Business Council founding member and former Vice-President of the Association for the Advancement of Black Accountants in Southern Africa. He is the Chairman and Senior Tax Partner of APF Chartered Accountants Inc. He was a member of the Income Tax Special Court. He served as a Director of Finance of the South African Tennis Association. He is a former Chairperson of the Public Accountants’ and Auditors’ Board. He is a Chartered Accountant.

Mr. Waja holds B.Com and B.Compt (Hons) degree, and a Higher Diploma Tax Law.
