Disposal of Abbotsinch Retail Park, Paisley

Hammerson plc has exchanged contracts for the sale of Abbotsinch Retail Park, Paisley to Ashby Capital for £67m. The sale price represents a net initial yield of 7.8% and is 3% below book value as at 30 June 2019.   

Market remains active with new projects announced in 2018 across the hospitality, retail and industrial sectors.

RDI, the income focused UK-REIT, has agreed three new high quality lettings at two of its retail parks delivering an average uplift of 40% on gross annualised rents reported for the year ending 31 August 2018.

Vukile Property Fund today reported 7.7% growth in dividends to 168.82 cents per share for the year to 31 March 2018 on the back of higher second-half distribution growth of 7.9%.
