Speaking at the Africa Hotel Investment Forum in Kigali, Rwanda, Xander Nijnens, Senior Vice-President, Hotels and Hospitality Group, JLL Sub-Saharan Africa, announced that Lux Island Resorts Limited has entered into an agreement to sell its Tamassa resort on the Indian Ocean Island of Mauritius for US$40 million.

Mara Delta to create Morocco Reit

Mara Delta is set to convert its Moroccan subsidiary into a real estate investment trust by the end of 2016.

Delta Property Fund is coming under pressure as it struggles to impress investors given its mostly government-tenanted office portfolio.

Mara Delta (formerly Delta Africa) announced that it is looking into investing a further US$ 110 million into Mozambique, by acquiring an additional four properties, as well as the second stage development of its Anadarko building.
