Thulani Kuzwayo, public sector managing executive of the Green Building Council South Africa (GBCSA) has been appointed Regional Chair of the Africa Regional Network – a group of Green Building Councils working to advance green building within the region.

Empowerment, transformation, and collaboration: These are some of the themes that emerged at the annual convention of the South African Institute of Black Property Practitioners, which took place on 2 and 3 November.

Green building is gaining rapid momentum in Africa with office buildings in Rwanda and Namibia both receiving 6-Star Green Star ratings, certified by the Green Building Council of South Africa (GBCSA).
