SA's listed property sector, which has been booming for more than three years, pulled back a little last month, posting a slightly negative total return of -0,79%, said Catalyst Fund Managers.
SA's listed property index recorded a total return of 7,27% last month, with the property loan stock and property unit trust sectors recording total returns of 7,22% and 7,13% respectively.
The listed property sector is continuing to perform strongly, with the total return for the year at 16,9%, or an annualised 81%, at mid-March.
SA's listed property index is set to continue to outperform cash and bonds over the medium-term, says Catalyst Securities' Annual Review.
