South African JSE listed REIT, Arrowhead Properties has declared distribution of 150,30 cents for the year ended 30 September 2015 representing a 12,8% improvement on the 133,24 cents distribution declared for the year ended 30 September 2014.

JSE's listed property sector has not managed to maintain its run of the past few years of beating the broader all share index.

Arrowhead Properties Limited (Arrowhead), the JSE-listed SA REIT (Real Estate Investment Trust), announced that its acquisition of all the issued units in Vividend Income Fund (Vividend), was approved at the respective general meetings of the two companies today.

2014 has confirmed that the listed property sector is moving from a cycle of new listings, into one of consolidation.

Arrowhead, the JSE-listed property company announced on 6 December, 2013 that it had acquired 31,7% of Vividend Income Fund.

South Africa's listed property sector is set to undergo consolidation in 2014.

Arrowhead today announced that it has concluded an agreement to acquire 84 966 285 Vividend Income Fund linked units representing 31.7% of the total Vividend linked units from Coronation Fund Managers.
