Unease over expensive malls

Furry of new listings, mergers and acquisitions in the JSE's R450bn listed property sector continues unabated.

Rebosis Property Fund buys Sunnypark Shopping Centre for R573m from Zenprop Property Holdings.

Linked unitholders are advised that Rebosis has concluded an agreement for the acquisition (“the Sunnypark acquisition”) of a letting enterprise in respect of and including a property known as the Sunnypark Shopping Centre (“Sunnypark” or “the property”) from the Centre of the Sun Properties (Proprietary) Limited (“the seller”).

Landmark Pretoria shopping centre Sunnypark is to undergo a revamp to the tune of R300 million, bringing the 30 year old centre sharply into the 21st Century as well as meeting the demands of the existing strong, aspirant and financially active market of Sunnyside and surrounds
