Inospace Property Fund, an owner and operator of branded business parks providing conventional and flexible workspaces, has completed the acquisition of seven industrial parks in Cape Town and  Johannesburg for R212 million, bringing the total value of its portfolio to over R1 billion.

Stenprop, the UK multi-let industrial property investor, has acquired an industrial estate in Bridgwater, Somerset, in an off-market deal from a private investor for £4.8 million, which reflects a net reversionary yield of 6.9%.

Stenprop, the UK multi-let industrial property investor, has acquired Estuary Court, an industrial estate in Newport, South Wales, from Storage Giant for £3.1 million, which reflects a net initial yield of 7.6%.

Shareholders are advised that Stenprop completed the acquisition of a fully-let industrial estate in Shrewsbury on 24 April 2018 for £2.9 million, in line with its stated strategy to focus on UK multi-let industrial (“MLI”) property.

The argument has often been made that the reason the SA listed property sector has delivered good returns over time, apart from a declining yield environment, is primarily due to its predictable and growing income stream.

According to Catalyst Fund Managers, the SA Listed Property Index (SAPY) recorded a negative total return (-6.12%) for the month ended 31 December 2015.
