South African power utility Eskom has moved to allay fears that its Medupi power station was likely to be delayed by two years.
JSE-listed construction firm Group Five continues to be dogged by contract problems outside SA, forcing it to stop work worth millions of rand.
Group Five says it conducted a thorough risk assessment before accepting a contract from a Nigerian agency to build a power station in that country.
