New inner-city project will see the revamp of Vuyisile Mini Square in front of the Port Elizabeth City Hall linked to the overall facelift of the Baakens River Valley precinct.

Private sector real estate investment in the suburb of Richmond Hill in Port Elizabeth is rising on the back of ongoing regeneration projects, with a record 68 percent of businesses and 34 percent of home owners making improvements to their properties in 2014. 

Management at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium is in discussions with the Mandela Bay Development Agency to redevelop some aspects of the North End Lake precinct as a stepping stone to greater economic activity in that part of the city.
